Tracy Donath was previously employed as the Math and Science Coordinator, supporting K-12 students and teachers in Peoria Public Schools. Previous to this role, she taught kindergarten, 4th, and 6th grade students for 20 years. She also served in a leadership capacity with district curriculum planning and as a primary administrative intern. She completed her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and has two masters' degrees, one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in P-12 Educational Administration, all from Illinois State University. Currently, she is progressing toward earning her Doctor of Education degree at Illinois State. Her family includes her husband, who she's been married to for 23 years, and two sons in college. When she's not spending time with family or school, she is paper crafting or traveling to fun destinations, with a love of sparkle and glitter wherever she goes!

Lindsay Bohm, Curriculum Coordinator
Lindsay Bohm currently serves as a Curriculum Coordinator for Peoria Public Schools. Prior to joining the curriculum team at the district office, she worked for two different grants supporting initiatives of the Illinois State Board of Education - one in school improvement and the other with the Illinois KIDS Project. Her first nine years in education were spent teaching middle school English Language Arts in a rural district. She received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and her Master's degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She lives in rural central Illinois with her husband and triplet boys.
Richie Benson, Curriculum Coordinator
Richie Benson serves as the Science and Math Curriculum Coordinator at Peoria Publics Schools. He most recently was the Assistant Principal at Quest Charter Academy. Richie had many years of experience in making the science classroom an exploratory experience for all learners in his Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Forensic Science, and Medical Terminology courses. He received his undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/Biology at Augustana College and his Master's Degree in Education Administration at Illinois State University. Richie is from and currently lives in Washington, Illinois with his wife Jamie and two-year-old daughter, Blake, who keeps them on their toes. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, staying active, supporting local restaurants and coffee shops, binging the latest on Netflix, and cheering on the Packers with the family dog named Beau.
Jason Wynn, Curriculum Coordinator
Jason Wynn serves as the Curriculum Coordinator for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Gifted programs at Peoria Public Schools. With over 8 years of experience in education, Jason has a strong foundation in teaching K-5 special education and educational leadership, including a tenure as a school principal. He holds a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Master's in Educational Administration from Illinois State University, providing him with a solid foundation in educational theory and leadership. Jason and his wife reside in Peoria with their two Goldendoodles and are eagerly expecting their first child in November.
Barb Closen, Online Learning Coordinator
Barb Closen currently oversees the Learning Online option for Peoria Public Schools. Prior to joining the curriculum team at the district office, she served as Director of Operations for Illinois Virtual School for 6 years and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Quest Charter Academy for 4 years. She has been an elementary teacher, Early Childhood Education through 2nd grade principal and school consultant. She received her degrees from Western Illinois University. She lives in central Illinois with her husband and is a proud mother of a lineman.
