Peoria Public Schools is pleased to announce the official opening of its state-of-the-art music lab at Peoria High School. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today in celebration of State Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth, who was instrumental in securing this grant in 2022. This is one of the few studios in public schools in the state of Illinois!
The new music studio includes soundproof rooms, a professional recording studio, and a top-of-the-line soundboard. This space will serve as a hub for digital learning, offering students access to a diverse range of media content production tools, including graphic design, photography, music, and podcast production, as well as 2-D and 3-D digital design.
This production lab offers students opportunities to explore their talents in music and digital production.
