Purpose:
Excalibur, or the RHS yearbook, is a publication that reflects the events and lives of our student population during a given year. It is a historical record which highlights and commemorates the year. Student staff produces an annual yearbook, which requires planning, creativity, and problem solving. 

Description:
Students are trained to use yearbook layout software provided by Walsworth to create a yearbook. This includes formatting layouts, captioning photographs, taking and selecting photographs, meeting with Richwoods' Walsworth yearbook representative for consultation in layout planning, design and final layout.  Varying tasks are assigned to students by the editor in chief.  Those tasks include taking pictures, identifying students within pictures, and layout of respective pages.  Students are responsible for all aspects of the publication in consultation with the adviser until the book is complete.
