Teaching mathematics is my passion. I am particularly interested in: helping students form meaning about the foundational concepts in each class I teach; exploring non-traditional methods of assessing student understanding; using grading as feedback and a learning tool; and helping teachers find and enact their individual vision for teaching mathematics. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family, reading, completing paint-by-numbers, and coffee.
