What is PBIS?

Our school is taking part in the district's Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) initiative, which aims to create safer and more effective educational environments. PBIS is a research-based approach that enhances schools' capacity to teach and support positive behavior for all students through tailored, school-wide, and classroom behavior support systems.

PBIS At Liberty

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Be Safe

Similar to the Liberty School Code, Liberty has a developed a set of rules that define our expectations for behavior in our school. You will see these rules posted throughout Liberty and your child will be learning them during the first days at school. Our expectations are found in every classroom and non-classroom setting in the school.

PBIS Rewards is a digital platform that helps schools implement and manage their Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) systems by tracking and rewarding positive student behaviors. It simplifies the process of acknowledging good behavior and reinforces a positive school climate through an easy-to-use app and reporting tools. Kids can use points they earn at the school store. Think of this as your child's online "bank account" where they can trade in positive behavior points for tangible items.
