Reservoir Gifted Academy held its ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new outdoor classroom space on Wednesday, May 1st, at 11am.
The project became a reality through various efforts, including a Help-A-Thon fundraiser last fall, a fundraising campaign by an alumnus in honor of a retired teacher, and additional contributions from current and former Reservoir Gifted Academy families.
The new space provides opportunities for all teachers to conduct lessons outdoors, facilitate reading sessions, engage in outdoor experiments, and even incorporate music into the curriculum.
