Third graders worked hard to multiply numbers and save their “patients!” working on multiplication fluency!

We do science @ LK8! The student had to build a device to get the “Radio Active” marbles into the cup without touching them with their hands.

These mustangs are getting ready for Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

This is for our K and 6th grade students.

Woodruff students come over from the barbering class to practice their skills and create a mentorship with our K-8 students.

Thursday, Sept 26, Peoria Fired Department came to LK8 to educate K-2 students about fire prevention and safety. Students practiced in a safe house, observed a firefighter in full gear, and sat up in the fire truck.

4th graders did a living museum in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Encore teachers got fan pics with some of their heroes during  the 4th grade DL living museum. Artist Frida Kahlo Boxer Oscar de la Hoya Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Roberto Clemente and Fernando Valenzuela from the Las Angeles Dodgers!

Student Council is hosting spirit week next week.

Fifth graders learn about states of matter by trying to guess the mystery substance after watching how it changes when heat is applied.

K-4 grade students attended the NED show. This assembly focused of having a growth mindset and being resilient. N stands for Never Give Up, E stands for Encourage Others, and D stands for Do Your Best

Good afternoon, Lincoln families, Please read the information about medical compliance. ALL medical records MUST be returned into the office on or before October 15th. Also, if your student does not have anything checked marked above the red paragraph, then the Dentals and Visions do not need to be turned in at this time, they will be due on a later date. Boys Baseball has two games this week. Hult Presentations continue this week at Lincoln. Fall Break is on the horizon, that means that Quarter 1 ends on Friday.

During a staff meeting, teachers participated in an AVID strategy called the carousel. They taught each other strategies that will help achieve our school improvement plan.
