This is my 28th year at Von Steuben Middle School and I am excited to be teaching 6th grade Science & Social Studies again.  

I have been a lifelong Peorian.  I attended Hines (back when it was K-8) and then attended Peoria Notre Dame.  I have an Associates Degree from Illinois Central College (ICC), a Bachelors Degree from Illinois State University (ISU), and a Masters Degree from Emporia State University (ESU).  I have two daughters, one who graduated from  Southeast Missouri State and is a middle school Art teacher in St. Louis, and another who graduated from Indiana State University and is now a Nurse.  My wife, Mrs. Donahue, teaches 5th grade Science & Social Studies at Von Steuben.  I have previously taught Science, Social Studies, and PE at various grade levels at Von Steuben. I have also been our schools Interventionist & Instructional Coach, and have coached at Von Steuben for all boys & girls sports on and off since I was in college.  

Our family loves Disney.  We have visited Walt Disney World in Florida over 100 times & Disneyland in California 10 times. I am North Carolina Tar Heel basketball fan, a Chicago Cubs baseball fan, and a Manchester City FC soccer fan.  

I look forward to meeting everyone & am excited about the changes that are taking place at Von Steuben.
