Valeska's 2024 UNPACK YOUR BACK was a huge success!
More than 200 families joined the Valeska staff on the day before school officially started to meet their teacher, visit their classroom and receive a special skill-building backpack filled with all kinds of fun materials and activities children need to prepare for preschool - from counting and sorting to language development and letter recognition.
The day's activities included meeting the teachers, refreshments and scavenger hunts around the classroom so students could explore and learn about all the different Centers and materials they will be working with throughout the year.
Our awesome Peoria Public Schools Transportation Team was also here to work with families and ensure all students that needed transportation were signed up and safely routed!
We LOVED meeting our new students and their families!
It was an AMAZING day getting us all ready for an AMAZING year!!
