In the event the school building is closed due to inclement weather (or other identified reason), the following arrangements will be made so students can continue their learning away from school:

• Teachers are available online (live) to provide instruction and direction for learning activities from 8:30am – 1:30pm. Lunch is at 1:30pm.• Teachers are available via email from 7:15am-2:45pm.

• The schedule for the day will be posted on Class Dojo and can be emailed to parents upon request.

• Students can log on for live instruction using the MS Teams link provided via Class Dojo.

• Independent learning activities will be sent home as Choice Boards for preparation of any future inclement weather days. Students can join MS Teams for help and clarification with Choice Board activities.

• All independent work is expected to be submitted once students return to school. Students have five days to submit work upon return to in person learning.

• Attendance will be determined by engagement in live instruction and/or submission of completed independent work upon return to school. In the event the school building is closed due to inclement weather, the following expectations are in place for district staff

• Certified staff (teachers) will work

o 7:15am - 8:30am (plan time)

o 8:30am –1:30pm (live instruction/available for students)

o 1:30pm – 2:00pm (lunch)

o 2:00pm – 2:45pm (plan time)

• Non-certified staff (teaching assistants) will not work on E-Learning/Snow Days

• Teaching Assistants must communicate their decision (options below) with the Principal.

o Teaching Assistants may take paid time off OR

o Teaching Assistants may take time off without pay OR

o Teaching Assistants may swap a day to work during intercession
