Dear Parents/Guardians,

My name is Stephanie O'Bert, I am one of the 5th Grade Math teachers at Sterling. I have been at Sterling for three years now and work with the best team in Peoria Public Schools. I have lived in Peoria for 2 years now with my fiance, three kids and 2 dogs. All of my kids attend Peoria Public Schools.

Right now in Math we are learning how to add and subtract decimals. Students are struggling with this concept, so I ask parents/guardians to work with their child on adding and subtracting at home so they can be successful in the classroom. Also, students do have homework about 2-3 times a week to enforce what we are learning in class.
