Dungeons & Dragons

"The world is made of stories, and we are nothing but the stories we tell ourselves." --Maria Laura Ruggiero

Dungeons & Dragons is a great way for students to use role-play and storytelling to increase social-emotional development. Students use collaborative and interactive storytelling while earning loot, levels and experience points. Action, choices, community, negotiation, resilience and responsibility can make your student not just a better player, but a better person.

Are you a Gnome Bard or a Half-Orc Paladin? The Washington Library has D&D books to help you find out. (They are also online if you can find them.) We have boys, girls and occasionally an assistant high school student in our groups.
