Family and friends of Rolling Acres, my name is Michael Barber, and I am the principal of Rolling Acres Middle School. I have been part of District 150 for 28 years. I began teaching in the district at Glen Oak Primary School where I spent the first 10 years of my career teaching third and fourth grade.  I then spent one year as a 4th grade teacher at Whittier Primary School. I then was the assistant principal for three years at Roosevelt Magnet School, and I served as the principal at Irving Primary School for four years. I am looking forward to my tenth year at Rolling Acres and to working with the staff, students and families.  I am here to assist you in anyway I can. Please feel free to either call or stop in if you have a concern or an idea. My door is always open, and I want you to feel welcome at Rolling Acres.
