Welcome to Hines Speech and Language Therapy!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Doering, and this is my 23rd year in Peoria Public Schools working as a Speech Language Pathologist. I currently provide speech and language services to the K-4 students at Hines Primary School.  In 1995, I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Northern Illinois University (NIU) and then went on to complete my Master's of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology at NIU and graduated in 1997. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a Type 73 School Services Personnel Teaching Certificate from the State of Illinois and am licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the State of Illinois.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Kraig, and I have 5 children, Kristen (23), Ashley (18), Katrina (16), Claire (16), and Charlie (13). We also have 2 cats named Piper and Lulu.
