Hello! Welcome to my Speech Therapy website!  Here you can find information regarding speech and language development, links to informational blogs, parent resources, and technological apps that can be used to help promote your child's communication skills at home. A little about me....

This is my 9th year with Peoria Public Schools and my 13th year as an SLP.  I have worked with students ages 3 to 22 in various schools over the years, and currently provide services to ECE through fourth grades, including private/parochial schools here at CT Vivian. Born and raised in the Quad City area, I received my undergraduate degree from Augustana College and completed my Masters degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Illinois State University.  I am currently licensed to practice in the state of Illinois through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation,  hold a School Services Personnel (non-teaching) Professional Educator License through the Illinois State Board of Education, and maintain my Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, American Speech and Hearing Association, the national certifying agency for Speech-Language Pathologists. While I have experience working in skilled nursing facilities and the pediatric outpatient setting, I have found a population of students with all different types of abilities that I love working with most here in Peoria Public Schools!
