2nd Grade

I have been teaching for 17 years.  The past 15 have been in District 150.  I was a writing teacher for K-4 students at Tyng and Kellar Schools.  I was also the computer teacher right here at CT Vivian.  Before coming to Peoria I was in a 4-6 grade building in Pekin.  I graduated from ISU in 2005.  I have enjoyed all of my experiences but just love working with my 2nd  grade students! I completed a graduate degree in reading in June of 2015.  I finished a graduate program for teaching English to speakers of other languages at the end of December 2016.  I feel it is important to continue learning about ways to meet the needs of my students. In December of 2021 I completed a graduate degree for STEM learning.  I am looking forward to a great school year.

My husband and I celebrated our 21 year wedding anniversary last September and we have a 11 year old pug named Lucy and a 4 year old old pug named Lilly.  We also have a 3 year old son and 2 year old daughter that we enjoy spending time with when we aren't busy working.
