A little about me....

I am a veteran Speech Language Pathologist with over 2 decades of experience at District 150 schools.  I have worked with students ages 3 to 18 in various schools over the years, and currently provide service to kindergarten through fourth grades here at CT Vivian.  My education journey started at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois for two years, continued at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, to finish my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders, and I enjoyed my experience there so much, that I stayed for another two years to obtain my Mater of Arts degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Speech Language Pathology.  I am currently licensed to practice in the state of Illinois through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation,  hold a School Services Personnel (non-teaching) Professional Educator License through the Illinois State Board of Education, and maintain my Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, American Speech and Hearing Association, the national certifying agency for Speech-Language Pathologists, and am a member of PASHA, the Peoria Area Speech and Hearing Association.  I thoroughly enjoy working with children and supporting their academic success through instruction in speech and language strategies.
