I am very excited to be at Charter Oak again this year! In addition to teaching music this year, I also get the priviledge to teach art! I'm super excited to try something new with our students! In my previous years of teaching for District 150, I have taught at Harrison Community Learning Center, Glen Oak Community Learning Center and Whittier Primary School.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Eastern Illinois University in December 2010. I spent my college years as a Resident Assistant for three years and as a Senior Staff Assistant for one. I was also highly involved in the music department at EIU.
As some of you may know, I have two daughters, Maggie and Katie. This year Maggie is in Fourth Grade and Katie is in Second Grade. I also have a son, Charlie, who is 3 years old. He is my favorite little boy who likes to chase his big sisters around everywhere.
