Hello room 200! Welcome to Mr. Berg's Classroom!

 Hello.  My name is Mr. Berg and I have been a teacher in district 150 for 31 years.  I love working with kids and watching their growth throughout the year.  Charter Oak is a great school, and I am so happy to be a part of this excellent staff.   I am thrilled to work with such wonderful kids and a great principal each day.  I hope your child has a wonderful and enriched third grade year!

Students will receive a homework sheet each Monday for the week. Please make sure that your child's homework is completed from Monday-Thursday and sign the box provided for each day. That way I know that you saw the homework and made sure it was completed. Also all students are expected to read for 20 minutes each night. This can count for their monthly reading logs. On almost every Friday students will receive some graded papers and a behavior report for the week. Please look it over and return the behavior sheet signed each Monday.

We are going to have a standards-based report card starting this year so students will no longer be earning letter grades. look for more information on this in the classroom newsletter which students will receive about every two weeks.
