Peoria Public Schools welcomed all parents and guardians of students in the Class of 2036 to the annual Kindergarten Roundup at the Peoria Zoo on April 27th from 10 am to 1 pm. This free event was an excellent opportunity for incoming students and their families to meet teachers and staff and explore the resources available to them. The Peoria Health Department was on-site to help parents print birth certificates, and there were vendors offering immunization services, which were required for student enrollment. Additionally, the Peoria Public Transportation Department provided bus tours for the students, giving them a preview of the bus experience.
