Hello! My name is Krista Verstraete and this is my first year teaching at the Peoria Adult Transition Program at R.A.Jamieson School. I have 12 years of special education teaching experience in the Peoria area. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University, Go Redbirds!

I live in Chillicothe with my husband, two sons, and two dogs. In my free time, you can find me outside hiking, kayaking, and watching my son's sporting events. I also love to spend time making crafts.
